For this purpose, it was necessary to use bibliographic, field and descriptive research and inductive methods, deductive and analytical, had a population owner manager, 12 employees and 350 customers. Through the situational diagnosis of the inventory area, critical points were identified such as not having a formal strategic direction, not having an organization chart, or a manual of functions that guide the actions of the personnel, which receives sporadic training, procedures have not been established. And general policies for the management of the inventory area, while the evaluation of internal control, using the COSO I methodology, reflected a moderate global confidence level with 61.66% and a low risk level with 38 .34% which were exposed through a final report with the findings and their respective recommendations. With the background of the previous diagnosis, the design of an internal control manual was proposed, which was made up of the mission, vision, individual and corporate values, as well as internal policies, a manual of functions and procedures that favor the efficient management of the Super Warehouse inventory. Para este efecto fue necesario emplear la investigación bibliográfica, de campo y descriptiva y los métodos inductivo, deductivo y analítico, tenido una población un gerente propietario, 12 empleados y 350 clientes. Mediante el diagnóstico situacional del área de inventarios se identificó puntos críticos como no contar formalmente con un direccionamiento estratégico, no disponer de un organigrama, ni un manual de funciones que orienten el accionar del personal, el cual recibe capacitaciones esporádicas, no se han establecido procedimientos y políticas generales para el manejo del área de inventarios, en tanto que la evaluación del control interno, empleando la metodología del COSO I, reflejó un nivel de confianza global de moderado con el 61,66% y el nivel de riesgo bajo con el 38,34% los cuales fueron expuestos a través de un informe final con los hallazgos y sus respectivas recomendaciones. Con los antecedentes del diagnóstico previo se propuso el diseño de un manual de control interno que estuvo conformado por la misión, visión, valores individuales, corporativos, además contemplo políticas internas, manual de funciones y procedimientos que favorezca la gestión eficiente del inventario del Almacén Súper Pato
